live 7 seems to open normally, what is different in live 8 so it crashes when scanning the vst's??

hmm forget that last workaround,

doesn't seem to work anymore after restart, sorry for that.
Need to contact application support after all..

do you have some new experience you can share for solving this problem?

I had the same thing. Probably due to NI Komplete vst's.
Solved the problem doing this (typical NI workaround :P):
-moved all vst's to a temporary folder on my desktop.
-launched live 8
-while live is still open, moved all vst's back to original place
-rescanned all plugins in live prefs ...

I'm trying to sync two Macs (powerbookG4 and MacPro), both with Live 6.0.5 to an MPC. The Powerbook syncs succesfully, yet the MacPro does not sync at all with the exact settings as the Powerbook. Midi clock send on MPC's both out ports is set to on.
