Re: Ableton Ghost (Notes shifting in pitch by themselves...HELP)
First off, before I respond any further, have discovered that this may in fact have to do with the pitch bend (I did not ignore the other posts, it's simply that the advice given was not effective in my particular case.). I am now facing an entirely new problem though. I've tried everything ...

Re: Ableton Ghost (Notes shifting in pitch by themselves...HELP)
@Eventful It's funny you mention the ear infection, because I just recently was misdiagnosed with an inner-ear disorder, that in the end I discovered was in fact "PET" (a very rare and recently discovered disorder). Although this occasionally hinders my ability to hear, I am sure that in this case ...

Ableton Ghost (Notes shifting in pitch by themselves...HELP)
So recently when using Ableton (Suite 8 ), I will playback my tracks (usually 1-2 audio and 5-10 midi) and certain notes within some of the midi tracks will literally shift keys or sound like different notes. I thought to myself: "Oh must've accidentally moved a couple things." But then when I ...

Re: LFO Rate Issue in Massive
Just tried it, no luck. LFO still sounds fine until I start the playback of the song, then it turns into mud again. So frustrating...simpli.cissimus wrote:Go to Live's options, turn off PDC and see if it that fix the LFO-sync !

LFO Rate Issue in Massive
When using Massive as a plug-in for Live 8, I've been having issues with using the "sync" option for the LFO rate. When I arm the track to start recording, everything sounds fine. But this is ONLY if there are no other tracks in the background. So for example, lets say I have a (midi) synth lead as ...

Broken Record Effect?
I've been producing some new material lately and want to mimic a certain effect in sections of my tracks. I want to take certain parts and essentially "repeat and loop" them continuously. I've searched through and tested nearly all of Ableton's audio delay effects and can't seem to find anything to ...

Problem recording riffs in Live
Whenever I start a recording in live, I have to wait a measure before starting my riff so that I play it on time. Is there a way to set it so that when I hit record, it doesn't actually start recording until the first note is played? It's just becoming a hassle to trim the beginning of all my clips ...

Re: Is this the right choice for me? (Quick Advice Please!)
First: you can't compare an APC with a MPD, as you probably know yourself. I have both an APC40 as well as an MPD24 and wouldn't want to be left out on either one.
But I think your line of thinking is spot on (for what its worth). If you already have a few pads which you can use to make some good ...

Is this the right choice for me? (Quick Advice Please!)
Hey I'm brand new to this forum, and to producing as well. I am currently running Ableton 8 and have an MPKmini. I am starting to sample some things and am creating my own beats/riffs using the instrument packs that come with Ableton. I am looking to expand my setup, and was going to go pick up an ...
