LFO Rate Issue in Massive

Post by PrettyLights96 » Sun Dec 02, 2012 11:03 pm

When using Massive as a plug-in for Live 8, I've been having issues with using the "sync" option for the LFO rate. When I arm the track to start recording, everything sounds fine. But this is ONLY if there are no other tracks in the background. So for example, lets say I have a (midi) synth lead as one track, recorded from 0:00-0:30. If I then go to record the Massive track (with LFO sync activated) between 0:00-0:30, it ends up sounding like a jumbled muddy mess rather than a steady 1/4, 1/16, etc... BUT, if I were to start recording @ 0:31, and it being the ONLY track, the LFO sounds fine. I have turned off the sync in massive to try and solve the problem, but then doing it by ear is never exactly spot on, especially for something so quick and repetitive (the envelopes for changing rates would be a mess to, because it would be 1-100 rather than say 1/32-1/2). Anybody know what's causing this, and if so is there an easy fix? It's really been hindering my work lately. :(

Go to Live's options, turn off PDC and see if it that fix the LFO-sync !
No! I'll never use the Push-App Live 9 !!!

Just tried it, no luck. LFO still sounds fine until I start the playback of the song, then it turns into mud again. So frustrating...
