All I was doing was sharing my personal experience with the program. I certainly wasn't implying that other people aren't having issues. Who are you to tell me I'm talking "nonsense"?

In my experience, Live 8 doesn't crash that often (roughly the same amount as Logic). I can accept a few of those every now and then as I've never lost any of my work. The majority of my crashes are related to 3rd party plug-in use. I certainly wouldn't mind more stability in the future though.

It took me a while to finish tracks in Live too. Although in my case, it had more to do with learning how to achieve a specific production quality. For arranging, I basically just record everything I do in the Session view. That leaves me with a bunch of material to work with in the Arrangment view ...

I haven't run into any problems with it either... so far it's been worth every penny I've paid for it.

I think a lot of the performance issues people are experiencing have to do with how they're using the program. I mostly use Logic for it's MIDI capabilities and I don't use that many 3rd party ...

Ultrabeat is an excellent drum synth. The sound quality is excellent, the envelopes are very precise, and there multuple lanes in the new version similar to Guru's. You can now also change the parameters of each step.

I have Microtonic as well but it simply doesn't sound as good as Ultrabeat.

I've really been enjoying Logic's Ultrabeat lately. I was intimidated by it for a while but it's not that hard to use once you read the manual and devote some time to it. I love the amount of control it gives you over sculpting sounds.

I've read on another board that it's possible to input patterns in Guru that trigger the Microtonic. I haven't managed to figure out how to get the two programs to work together within Live and was wondering if anybody has had success in doing this.
