yeah i watched a video on it it was great, i tried isolating certain freq's in mastering but it lost a lot of brightness.

Yeah theres a program called ARKAOS.
maybe arkaoss, but its the ableton of visuals.
my visual guy uses it.
you can midi sync / rewire to use with ableton.
