Hi, i am experiencing the same problem... Can anyone please explain how to correctly install the AU and get it running in Live? I copied the extracted folder into the respective VST/AU folder and scanned, but it didn't work.

But I am struck by your advice to start with subtractive synths. Why that, and not FM? At the moment I am pretty much doing what you are saying in the article, but with Operator, not Analog. Why would Analog be a better place to start?

yeah. same approach really. route data - record arm the receiving track - start recording, either into a clip or as part of an arrangement.

Right, another thing: Can i save the midi data? I want to manually change some notes of the arpeggiator output.

is there any way that i can get the actual midi from a midi clip that is manipulated by the built-in arpeggiator?
I know that i can convert the midi clip to audio and than back to midi, but that seems a bit ... unhandy to me. Do you have any suggestions?

this sucks: I can't open Live, so i have uninstalled to install it again. However, when i want to use Ccleaner to uninstall it, it says it cannot find a certain file and the uninstallation fails. When i want to simply install the 9.0.4 on my PC, it says, that there is already a folder ...

Yes, i warp the tracks, click on save, but it won't save. I am familiar with warping, 95% of my tracks "remember" their warp markers, but some don't. I just can't find the reason why... and i am 100% sure, that i didn't simply forget to click on the save button...

i thought i was able to warp tracks but Live has proven me wrong. However, my problem: I select a track, i warp the hell outta it, i save the hell outta it, i throw it out of my clips, i throw it back in, and all the beautiful warp markers are gone. This happens to about 5% of my tracks ...

OK, just started Live and something is allready happening... it's downloading a whole lotta instruments...!

edit: It just finished. Although i own Suite, it downloaded instruments, all labeled "version 8.5"...

I'm a bit confused? I'm currently on 8.3 and saw little point in downloading 8.4 ...
