Arpeggiator Midi

Post by Schiggy » Sun Dec 29, 2013 8:44 am

Hey guys,

is there any way that i can get the actual midi from a midi clip that is manipulated by the built-in arpeggiator?
I know that i can convert the midi clip to audio and than back to midi, but that seems a bit ... unhandy to me. Do you have any suggestions?

BTW: Can you recommend other good arpeggiators?

Cheers

Create another midi track. Make its input the post midi fx output of the arpeggiator track. Done.

Right, another thing: Can i save the midi data? I want to manually change some notes of the arpeggiator output.

yeah. same approach really. route data - record arm the receiving track - start recording, either into a clip or as part of an arrangement.

Hi an thanks again. I'm gonna check that tomorrow. :)
Actually, i recorded into the clip, but it didn't work. I piano roll showed the notes, but they wouldn't stay...
