CPU recommendation for Massive, Serum, Razor

Hi all. Just upgraded to Push 2 and am now shopping for a new laptop - need some CPU recommendations.

I previously used a Win7 desktop with quad-core CPU (i5-2500K 3.3Ghz), which performed well for me. I am hoping to purchase a high-end 13" ultrabook for portability. However, all these 3-pound (1.3 ...

Re: Mac laptop - audio interface needed?

You mentioned you would wait until 1Q. I though Apple releases a new MBP every year. So what makes you belive they will release a new model so quickly?

I wasn't referring to MacBook Pros specifically. I'm expecting that many of the Windows models will adopt the quad Kaby Lake i7s when they ...

Re: Mac laptop - audio interface needed?

Since you are traveling a lot, you most likely are professional doing OK in life. If that's the case, I would stick with Apple as the majority of music pros who could afford either platform always choose Apple.

Thanks for the advice. Since I am only a hobby musician, I do still try to make ...

I get what you're saying, but I can't take this route. Trying to decide whether to get a MacBook Pro, or a much less expensive Windows laptop. I've got a nice interface - just don't want to use it with this rig.

Mac laptop - audio interface needed?

Hi all. After being away from the Live world for a while, looking to get back to production.

Most of the time I won't be using physical instruments or mics - just the Push 2 and computer. If I go with a new MacBook Pro, will I still need an external audio interface for low latency, or is the ...

Re: Push feature requests

Requested: a method to calibrate the dead-center of the touch strip. The actual neutral center of my strip is below the two lit indicator points, which is very annoying/difficult when using the strip to control pitch bends.

Re: Push Cover / Stand

How sturdy is this stand? Does the Push bounce when you are finger drumming, etc?

Re: Push Cover / Stand

I bought one of the Rolodex Laptop Stands that others have posted about. It's okay. The feet on Push are not quite wide enough apart to straddle the edges of this stand, so either the right or left feet are kind of touching, and it doesn't sit completely flat on the stand.

I've had a little ...

Re: Touch Strip center position off?

For example, let's say I want to start with the played note, bend up an octave, and then bend back down to the played note. I first need to touch the center of the strip, which is not exactly in tune. Then, I need to bring the bend back down to center position (the played note), and that spot ...

Touch Strip center position off?

Is there a way to calibrate the center position of the touch strip?

I've been frustrated trying to use the strip for playing in expressive pitch bends, because I can't easily find the "in tune" center position. The exact center position on my Push is somewhat under the bottom of the two amber ...
