I went ahead and purchased one with a 2GB chip. I'll come back to this thread and post my experiences for posterity when I get it.

I'm seriously considering grabbing one of these and upgrading to 2gb of RAM to get a nice tiny PC to take to gigs. This would by no means be my full production machine. I have a nice quad core desktop for that.

Yep, gimmick. Korg's lower end stuff also tends to sound, ehrm...not so great compared to their mid and high range offerings and even most soft synths. Would second finding one used if you're heart's set on it, especially when one of Abelton's instruments is only $9 more than this thing new.

I followed the directions in Ableton's tutorial exactly, but Live isn't seeing FL Studio 6 as a rewire device in the inputs. It sees Rebirth and Reason rewires ok, but that's it. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix it so Live recognizes FL Studio?

I record Guitar Rig 2 with Live. I set the buffer size on my Ultralite to 384 and get 8ms of latency.

You may have your latency set too low. Try raising the buffer size. I find 8ms to be good for playing guitar. 11ms is slightly disorienting but it works in a pinch.
