Forced to Upgrade to Yosemite! Max and Live Incompatibility
Looks like Apple is dropping technical support for Mountain Lion and Mavericks overnight! Like many I've stabilised my music production platform on a mid 2012 MBP running 10.8.5 Mountain Lion. Why? For stability, driver, application and plugin compatibility. It's also a general purpose machine I use ...

Re: PULL 2.0 - Control VST's and Max Devices with your iPad
Looks grat can't wait to try it.
How about emailing existing owners to advise of the new version? (Maybe I missed the email for some reason?)
Brilliant work!

Re: Ableton Live 10
I reckon Push MK2 should have built in DSPs for CPU offloading of instruments or effects and sounds browsing, faster navigation and thunderbolt, plus pads for note expression, pitch and timbre a la Linnstrument.

Re: Problems with 9.1.5
Guess I can turn off my network first, but interested if anyone else is having problems, 9.1.4 has been quite stable for me.

Re: Problems with 9.1.5
Yeah, of course, but if I start it up won't it upgrade to 9.1.5?

Re: Problems with 9.1.5
I don't, but now want to know if it's possible to turn off Live's auto update feature for exactly this reason.

APC 40 MK2 - cross fader leak
Been really enjoying the new apc, had for about a week, noticed channel A is leaking through when cross fader all the way to right, nudge it back a bit and A drops away. Seems like the fader is leaking, but it's also reflected in Live's crossfader? Any calibration of the crossfader possible? Have ...

APC 40 MK2 - fader pickups
Hi all
Just about to get delivery of this as an upgrade to the APC20 I have. Before I buy it I'm really hoping they've addresses some of the shortcomings.
The APC20s faders take a couple of movements before live picks them up and the track volume is affected. Just an annoying lag really.

Push with Apc - lock focus on push possible?
Hi folks
Am using Push with an APC20, shortly to upgrade to an apc40 mk2. I mainly use the apc for launching clips, whilst playing other tracks on push. At the moment every time I launch a clip on the apc the focus switches push to the track launched from the apc. I'd like them to be independent of ...

Re: Playing Push - Live indicates one Octave lower than expected
That's right, play any of the blue notes on push for the root note, which might be a C, Live shows one of the Cs playing depending on which of the blue notes you play. Whichever one I choose, when I check on the piano roll in lives midi clip I see the key go red and note the number, e.g. C1' but C2 ...

Playing Push - Live indicates one Octave lower than expected
Hi
This is a curiosity that I haven't noticed until now.
When playing a scale on Push and listening to a synth's output, Live always indicates one octave lower than the external synths play, as verified with four different synth (Operator/Microbrute/Minitaur/Virus Ti) and a tuner on my interface ...

Re: Multiple User mode MIDI remote scripts
That's interesting. I'm on a Mac which can handle multiple MIDI devices on a single channel so doesn't require MIDI yoke, but this does open up the question can two different scripts be set to use different channels somehow?

Multiple User mode MIDI remote scripts
Hi all
Have been using PXT and PXT Live for a little while now and loving them, although still haven't got to grips with ALL of the capabilities, absolutely amazing work, love the clip chopper particularly.
I've just started a trial of Liquid Rhythm: http://www.wavedna.com/product-information ...
