Like so many other people, I can't get this thing to work properly under winXP. I tried all of the workarounds in this article:

but it still goes crazy several times a day.
So I'm going to have to sell this thing and go back to ...

I don't know why I didn't think of this before. The recent post about Kid Beyond using MIDI translator made me realize that perhaps a work-around is possible using keyboard mapping to trigger slots, instead of MIDI mapping. Agreed. The ability to select a clip upon MIDI launch is an essential feature. It is present in Live3. I tried Live4, but they had removed that feature (without mentioning it anywhere, to boot!).
