It's known that the Ableton Move is built around the Pi Compute Module 4.
As of today's release of the Pi Compute Module 5, and it appears to be a drop-in replacement for the CM4, what future does the Move hold for upgrades?
How soon can we expect a Move Plus or something with greater ...

Re: Intel is shutting down NUC
When I read the Intel announcement I read it as we will stop making mini pc's based on the NUC form factor. I'm not reading that the form factor itself will disappear. Has anyone come across statements that the NUC form factor will disappear?
Intel is closing down their entire NUC business ...

Re: Intel is shutting down NUC
Good news, Intel is working directly with ASUS to take over some or all development of their NUC boards.

My fear was, and still partially is, that ASUS could simply decide to not produce Compute Elements ...

Re: Intel is shutting down NUC
Right, but the carrier board that houses that "stuff" is a standard. And it's a published standard. Any manufacturer can build to that specification.
For example:

Re: Intel is shutting down NUC
If Ableton wants to use a different CPU, they just send you a different enclosure. CPU's fit into a socket, and that socket is a standard. The current chip fits into a FCBGA1449 socket. With that same socket, you can put all sorts of CPU's into that socket, up to a i7-1195G7. NUC has nothing at all ...

Invisible (no coloration) Band Splitting in EQ Three
Now that we have 'Channel EQ' to do the duty of adding 3 band character/color, I'll ask that you please upgrade EQ Three with a mode for 'invisible' or 'no coloration' band splitting. This could very simply be a 3rd button below the 24, 48 db slope selection. It should in effect result in what this ...

Making the case for 'Retina' support on Macs.
Most people don't realize, Ableton Live 8 already technically has Retina support. It's just not activated.
This is possible thanks to the fact that Live's UI is rendered as vector elements, not as raster (pixel) elements. They hide this away in the preferences under the name of "Zoom"; and for ...

Re: Live 9 looks meh.
No retina support.
How in Satan's glorious name can you tell that from the video?
And even if it's not, keeping up with OS developments has always been a point update anyway.
The leaked Devices video occasionally zooms in on the UI. It zooms past 100% resolution and retains vector like UI ...
