Hey, thanks for replying.TomViolenz wrote:Try renaming the sample in the session view, before hitting save. That should def save everything in a new clip.
I tried renaming it but it still didn't work.

Re: Save default clip not working
I also tried with WAV and AIFF files and it's still not working. And 'Create Analysis Files' is turned on. So I really don't know...

Save default clip not working
I have a sample folder on my desktop which has been added to my Live 9.1 browser. Within this folder, there's a FLAC sample...let's call it 'sample.flac', which I would like to edit the clip settings of and save them so that every time I load sample.flac into Live, the saved clip settings are there ...

Re: Can I change how pack presets load by default?
For instance, if I create a new empty MIDI track in the normal way, my default track appears.
But if I create a MIDI track by dropping an instrument or effect into Live, it creates a MIDI track without my default settings
It looks as if the same could be true for your pack problem. Hmm ...

Hey, thanks for replying. The Finn wrote:Does that sort your problem?
I was thinking about doing that but it seems like that'd be an annoying task to do for every pack/preset that I might wanna do it for. If that's the only way then I might do it but I'm just wondering if anyone knows a better way.

Can I change how pack presets load by default?
Hello,
So when I load pack preset kits(more specifically, the Bomblastic drum kits), the Simpler inside Drum Rack defaults to the usual -12db volume, etc., and I'm wondering if I can change how those preset kits load by default. I already know how to change the default Simpler inside Drum Racks for ...

Re: Why are samples quieter in the browser?
nah, i just bring mine up in the mix, like it's just another track. (i'm not cranking all of my tracks out at 0db though) you're just previewing a sample anyways....it's not a big deal if you do distort a bit. your monitors/headphones/ears might not like it...but that level isn't critical.
Okie ...

Why are samples quieter in the browser?
I have all volumes set at 0db - browser preview, clips, arrangement tracks, master, etc., but my samples are much quieter in the browser. They get louder(go to normal volume, that is) once they're drug into session or arrangement view.
Why is this?

Re: Change 'Categories' in Live 9 browser?
OK. Cool. Seems as though some of the things I've asked about are possible. :)
But what about just outright deleting folders and their contents? That's something I would definitely love to do.(Unless this has already been done and I missed it somewhere?)
