Interesting link, I had no idea there were dedicated users or teams that made mods like this. Funny you mention the macro assigning to "keyframe" between the snapshots, that idea came to me on my drive to work this morning. Obviously would like this to be native to live though, here's to hoping.

A great feature would be easier/integrated A/B'ing.
For example, EQ, make crazy or subtle curve changes etc., then use a "snapshot" function built into the EQ. The first snapshot would save your current settings and the second one would save your changed settings, then maybe there is another button ...
