I use Touch OSC with Live on every gig and have been for a little over a year. Now that you can add custom labels I can really get around it better and have a different setup for each gig.

I just got my apc40 and am really happy with everything it can do. My question is, when having more than one song, ill have more than one instrument for say, a bassline. how can i have 2 bass' with 2 different instruments, yet still have them under the same track?

on the maudio keyrig the piano keys the drum pads and the knobs are all seperate 'zones' that can be turned on or off. Make sure that you have them all 'on'

What do you guys and gals do with all the samples for the new Live Suite? I don't have enough room on my native drive so they're all running off an external drive. That's simple enough but all my presets and other instrument settings from Live6 are in my library on my native drive. Any ideas?

I just bought into logic for the first time and it seems very cool. The pitch correction will be a great time saver for me with some of the vocalists I work with. It does seem a bit cluttered though. Live is beautifully simple.

I spent along time looking for a solution to this. all the solutions cost more than a new soundcard in most case. (4-500usd)

under preferences you need to open the midi tab and make sure that your axiom has the "remote" button turned on.

then click the midi tab in the main screen (top right hand corner)
then click the function you want to control with you mouse and then press or turn the control on your controller you ...

I starting using beatrepeat to do this kind of effect. here's how

put beatrepeat in a return track

send the vocals to the return

set up a hot key or midi controller (I use one of the pressure pads on my axiom 25) to turn on the return track and also turn on the 'repeat' button in 'beatrepeat' it ...

I use my 25 in a bunch of ways. I usually use the pads as on/off's (I'm a guitar player and I like stomp boxes) I also use one pad to toggle between my two main softsynths. I have the Loop button set to tap tempo, I have the fwd rev keys set to go to the next point in session view. Right now though ...
