If it takes as long as version 9, 10+ Terabytes of RAM will be pretty much standard when Ableton 10 gets released.

I like it. But I like John Williams Superman Theme better, although it wouldn`t fit because "Man of Steel" is much "darker" than the old films.
However Williams Superman theme (although it has the typical Williams touch as this one here sounds like Zimmer) still is one, if not THE, most epic film ...

I´m much more productive with it because it works as it should. I don`t have to think about it and I`m able to(n) concentrate on the important parts, the music, not "wrestling" with the software.

Some people find the interface confusing. In my opinion it has, regarding the complexity of the synth, the most logical and easiest interface I´ve seen. I would say the interface is reason no.1 why I love this thing so much.

I prefer Dark color schemes for practical reasons, not because they look pretty (or not).
I can work longer without getting eye strain.

It`s dead easy because it`s intuitive. At least to me. In fact I think it`s hard to do it any better with the restriction and buttons of the MK.

Me too. Never had any problems with 9 (or 8 ) and Zebra 2.5. And I normally use many Zebra instances.
Only when I have a Zebra(Automapped) in a track and the Automap server hasn`t been started before, Live crashes. But that`s an Automap issue.

I'm looking at the impulse as well and was wondering if you've used it without automap? Will most of the controls map using the built in mapping from Live or is using automap a must to get the most out of it? I've seen a lot of horror stories about automap and would prefer not to have to install it ...

I`m loving Zebra. Together with Diva, my favorite softsynth.
Just get the demos of all synths you can get your hands on, spend some time with them, and decide which one is for you.
