i got ZEBRA2 today

Post by eddiex » Mon Apr 29, 2013 1:14 am

i like it a lot. i haven't gotten all crazy with it yet, but it seems like the interface is super user friendly. i'm excited to get the zimmer patches!
the weird thing is, i can't find it in my applications..like there is no icon for it, to put on my dock. maybe i am just missing something?

I think Zebra 2 is AU/VST only, so no standalone map...if you're on a Mac you can use AU Lab if you want to play it outside of a DAW.

Have fun with it! It`s my favorite softsynth.
Some people find the interface confusing. In my opinion it has, regarding the complexity of the synth, the most logical and easiest interface I´ve seen. I would say the interface is reason no.1 why I love this thing so much.
U-He also has an excellent support.

Zebra2 is hands down my most often used softsynth. I love it.

There are a lot of great tutorials out there for it, too - be sure to check them out.

I find lots of people using it in lots of ways that I never would have thought of myself.

Just got the Zimmer/Scarr Dark Zebra add on. Incredible stuff and very versatile when used in a completely different musical setting. Pretty much redefines an already great instrument for me. New (Diva) filters sound great and since it's a true synth all the patches can be modified a reworked to fit your needs.
