Why I can't drop a WAV file on an "Audio Track"?
I've used Ableton many times, but the last time was many months ago, and I think that I might have formatted my computer (windows) in the meantime, downloading ableton again and installing it. Maybe I didn't test it at all at that time. Now I need to use it and I'm not being able to drag and drop WA...

Moving Waveform on Ableton like Traktor?
I would like to start playing with Ableton like I play with Traktor, is it possible to have a zoomed and moving waveform like traktor has? Is there a plugin for something like this?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: How to emulate DJM-900's Reverb effect?
You could always try a few basic reverb presets, map a knob to Decay Time and another to Dry/Wet. That's basically all the Pioneer settings are. Tweak until it sounds close to what you want. If I recall correctly the pioneers reverb is very basic with just an adjustment for Time going from 1-100% i...

Re: How to emulate DJM-900's Reverb effect?
Ok, the DJM-900's reverb may not be the best reverb ever built. My real problem is that Ableton's reverb has too many parameters and even after spending a lot of time changing them I can't seem to reach a normal reverb sound. (I want something smooth, not too electronic or robotic) How can I have a ...

Re: How to emulate DJM-900's Reverb effect?
Ableton's reverb sounds bad, which simple reverb is a good option (free or not)? Also, which are the basic paramenters to change so I can have the good old Reverb found in Pioneer's stuff, Traktor, etc.. ?

Re: How to emulate DJM-900's Reverb effect?
The easiest would be to buy a Pioneer RMX, they even can be used as VST in a DAW. Lives Reverb is about the worst effect of the Ableton line. Emulating other Reverbs with it is very difficult. I managed to install the RMX-1000 and RMX-500's VST, but none of them has a "pure" reverb, they ...

How to emulate DJM-900's Reverb effect?
I use reverb a lot while playing so I would like to use it on my podcasts. How do I emulate the DJM-900's Reverb? Is it better to use Ableton's Reverb or download some free VST? Which parameters should I permanently change to make it an one-knob-turning effect, just like I would have on the DJM? Tha...

About Upgrading from Intro to Standard
I am in the middle of making a podcast and I want to upgrade to Standard. Is it possible to have any problem with my podcast? I mean, I am afraid of opening the .als file from Intro on Standard and some stuff are missing or something, should I forget it and just upgrade? Thanks

How to simulate Pioneer's effects on Ableton?
I thought about using RMX-1000's VST but I need the equipment plugged to install the VST and I don't have it right now.
Any other VSTs that I could use to simulate the DJM's effects like reverb, echo etc. ?
Thanks

Opened the .als file and found 2 inactive blue channels....?
What are these blue channels I've found on my .als file?
I'm making a podcast and suddenly, after opening it to continue the work 2 channels appear light blue and with no sound coming from the tracks in these channels....
What's that?

I don't think I've used 9.0, I might have bought Live 9 after the release of the 9.1 update.cheekypaul wrote:all v9 or just v9.1?Danny Hard wrote:Live 9 is taking waay much more time to export than Live 8 for me too.

Re: Getting huge overs while mixing tracks..
EQ3 colors sound. This also results in changes in amplitude. Although at that amount, I dunno, it sounds like a pretty heavy boost. If you plan to EQ tracks using EQ3, you really need to be actively paying attention to sound output and gain. You should have a gain knob, EQ3, And a fader. And ideall...

Re: Getting huge overs while mixing tracks..
Now I realised that it goes back to zero when I turn the EQ-Three off.
Why just turning the EQ-Three (whitout even touching the paramenters) would make the track go 9db over zero?
The right thing to do is just turn the EQ-Three ON when I'm going to use it?
