This might sound like a really stupid question, but at no point has anything or anyone told me, but...

Even though I went and bought Ableton Live 9 at a store, do I still have to download it?

Install on another computer? NO!!! I spent a few hundred dollars building this computer, just for the intent of installing Ableton 9. Why is it not working!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All updates were installed prior to my issue. I do have a service desk ticket but it's memorial weekend, so I don't expect any response until Tuesday.

I have the same problem. I installed the Live 64-bit - Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package (x64)
And it still wont run. Now what?!?!?
