Ok, i warped a track which was easy to do, a few marker at the begining and a couple in the middle.

The differnce is this tack it was a wsimple groove track without many eliments. simple beats..........so more complexed sound..not as easy, not as tight

my issue is that im only using ableton for sequencing DJ sets(not Live)

So i worked out a set on a pair of CD decks which I wanted to record.
I thought Id try use live since I could had a few tricks in their + it nice to control the fades between tracks.

Whats happened is i've spent hours warping ...

I understand the process but im taking about the time it takes to get these tracks warped.

how long should it take per tack, as a guide using a 4/4 track

how many markers as guide?

what about eq and fx send / returns

I mainly want to work in the arrange window!

so when i comes to mixing down with EQ do you just drag n drop eq on to the track or does ableton have any preset eq like most audio sequencers?

in regards fx or processors i know you can insert fx etc by dragging and droping on the tracks but what ...

mixing down tracks in live

Ok you can arrange whole tracks in live like other sequencers but what about mixing the tracks in live with EQ etc.

Do you just drag n drop eq on to the tracks you want and take it from there?

Also what about setting up FX sends / returns

Anyone mixing down tracks in live?

If the grid markers are all in the right places without adding further markers do you need to change anything?

im not to sure

I tried warping a few fines in ableton and mixing together and found that it wasn't very tight sounding!
I tried the same in Mixmeister and got better results!

Maybe i didn't warp the files correctly im not sure?

I looped a few sections of the files first to check the grid was positiond correctly ...

i dont need to use either software live

so are we saying that Ableton is more accurate for beat maching than mixmeister?

I do like the ease of use with Mixmeister but i also want the best results
