I have a set of vdrums. I want to record the audio and the midi. But what I want, are session clips all looped to the same size.

I'm trying to route the audio of various cells in Battery 3 to a separate channel in Live 6.0 so that I can then apply different effects etc. However, I cannot seem to grasp how to go about doing it.

Can someone point me to a tutorial somewhere?

Every time I install a new version of Live, I still retain the old version in Add/Remove Programs.

Currently my startup menu has 3.0., 3.0.4, 6.0.1 and 6.0.3

Which, if any, can I safely remove?

I'm currently a Live 3.0 Box user and am trying to upgrade to 6.0 Box with Academic Pricing. The issue that I am having, is the only available upgrade at the various academic software sites is for Live 5.0 -> 6.0. They generally state "you must have Live 5.0"
