I've just read this and come to the same conclusion, so contacted focusrite and am changing the VRM for a Scarlett 2i4. Feel much better now

got my shit sorted out with this, ended up by getting krk cans, launchpads s control pack and a vrm.
I'm happy, its all stuff I can use and cannot believe that I won something!

Question is, should the S cost nearly twice the mini? Either the mini is underpriced or the S is about £30 too much in my head.
