Won a prize...

Post by PbLead » Wed Apr 23, 2014 7:05 pm

Hi,

I've recently got into dance music production after enjoying music all my life. I bought a launchpad S to go with my ableton setup and sl25. The thing is that buying this has won me £400 of focusrite vouchers, this would be ace if I hadn't already got the 2 novation products!

Ideally I would put it to a audio interface and some krk monitors, however I cannot get away with the levels that I would want, so think a vrm and some quality headphones because all my sources are all virtual I don't need an input.

My ideal situation would be someone wanting to take the vouchers off me who is looking at buying focusrite products anyway, or even a swap for a push. I haven't spoken to the shop yet but I think the t&cs state only focusrite.

Any thoughts anyone?

Paul.

Soooooo.... You are giving it away just like that? Hmmm well I live in America so I have no idea how it would work out but I most definitely would take them off your hands if I could. :P I just don't understand though... Are you giving them away or expecting something in return? Btw I know the possibility of this working out for me to get them is slim to none BUT if there was ever a chance for me to get it then it would be highly useful. (I do not have a job - therefore I can't afford almost any equipment.) I have been creating music for about 3 years now but I have just recently gotten Ableton. Push and other equipment would be HIGHLY useful and I would be extremely grateful!

First time on forums and this is what I see :)

LONG LIVE TRON!!

P.S. - Do you have a souncloud? If so, what is it? I would definitely wanna see what your up to with your music endeavor*. :)

Everyone know nothing comes for free, but I like your opportunistic approach!

I have been given an opportunity to sort my home setup but am unsure of what I would be able to make most use of. It a shame the family won't put up with me rattling the house with some nice monitors, that would be an easy no brainer!

Maybe I'm after the advice of what to get if limited to focusrite group, or if anyone is about to be buying this sort of stuff anyway, some kind of arrangement can be sorted out.

Nice try tho mas, ;-)

@OP

You surely missed there is a specific forum section for sales (or "arrangement" as you prefer to call it) appropriately named "For Sale / Wanted"...suitable for all kind of trades.

You're welcome.

Apologies beats

I'm also after advice on what I could add to my setup

I'm curious of the need for an audio interface if I only use virtual synths, or is it wise to future proof just in case?

Btw

I've just read this and come to the same conclusion, so contacted focusrite and am changing the VRM for a Scarlett 2i4. Feel much better now
