I have just reinstalled live 6 (the latest version on my mac)
Questions

1. i appear to have lost the preset synths, i had also lost preset effects setting but got them back

2. Live i creating random files in my hard disk that arent cahe files they go by the name of tmptempsong files. It didnt used ...

If I have 2 laptops, both running live, is it possible to sync them?

If so, how is the best way to go about it?

Im trying to get my novation x-station to control variables both within live and on my VST plug ins but cant seem to get it too work.

I can play notes fine, but otherwise nothing seems to work.

I have installed the latest drivers and am used Mac OS X

I reinstalled live on my mac from download (I have live version 5 on cd, but was fortunate to get a free upgrade to version 6)

After some messing around i got my preset effects back, but i seem to have lost the instruments that come with live and some drum samples.

Any ideas?

I agree with the above, i just got my new Macbook Pro the other day, which I am very happy with, but it only takes a few soft synths to get the CPU up to a healthy 25-30%.

The more power the better!!

I have just reinstalled live after downlaoding version 6 from the website, only to find that all the effects that come with live work fine, but that all the presets have gone.

Any ideas as to how i can get them back

According to windows, its running at 233Mhz as opposed to 3.06Ghz!!
