Re: Ableton sets initial value to 0 when recording midi CC
Draw in a CC envelope that has the CC setting you want at the start of the clip. Then overdub record changes.
A CC being assumed to be zero until a human alters it is a good thing. Any alternative would cause a lot of problems and/or work to sort out. Far more than spending a few seconds setting ...

Auto fade knob on release
Hello m4lers,
Is there a device that would auto decrement a mapped knob after the knob is released? Specifically I am using a Push, and I want to turn a knob to raise a filter, but then for the knob to slide back to 0 after I release it.
Is there anything in existence that can do this for me?

Audio Clip Detune/Transp. Midi Map
I want to be able to record a clip, and then pitch shift it fluidly with a Midi knob. I am able to do this by manually drawing in the automation, or by moving my mouse to increment the detune, but I am only able to midi map to the transp. knob that does not allow me fluid pitch shifting.

Ableton Looper Polymeter
I am working in 4/4 time with a 7/4 guitar riff I play, record, and loop. It seems whenever I record into Abelton's Looper I am able to get the 7 beats I want, but when playing back it refuses to acknowledge the polymeter. Instead It will just replay the last beat twice so that it can sync its ...

How can I move the session box multiple tracks at a time?
I've been playing around with remote scripts tailoring my kmi quneo to my style and needs. It's been going well so far but now I need to move the session box 8 tracks at a time with 1 button push.

Re: Push pads sensitivity
My problem isn't triggering the pads - its doing so in a way that yields an adequate velocity. I have to push much harder than a piano key to get a piano key sound. The strength with which I have to push to get the sound I want limits my dexterity. Is there any way I can increase the velocity of the ...

Push pads sensitivity
I recently bought a Push. I'm new to production and this is my first midi controller, so I'm very excited. So far it's really cool except for one thing.. the pad velocity sensitivity.
