Re: Latency doesn't make any sense...
Hi Stromkraft Its MIDI-clips that sre played to the synth. They are 100% quantized of course, and the attack on the synth is on 0. MIDI goes out from Ableton MIDI-track "External Instrument" through USB-cable to a MOTU Midiexpress 128, from there throgh midi-cable to a synthesizer. Audio goes out fr...

Re: Latency doesn't make any sense...
Hello hems I appreciate the time you took for trying to help... but everything you wrote is not news to me. The "reduced latency when Monitoring" is not an option to solve this problems, as whenever you change a track (not project, track in the sense of midi- or audio-track!) it changes the timing r...

Latency doesn't make any sense...
Hi All Ok we all know about latency-issues when it comes to recording external synths and stuff like that, there's the audio buffer setting and blabla. Optimized my OS (Win10) for best performance (turned off all the fancy animation stuff and backgroundtasks (even the antivirus!)) etc. Still, I get ...

Re: Push2 unresponsive note-mode
*update* Turns out with the newest Windows10 updates these problems have gone away. But one problem not mentiomed in the original post persists. Changed the thread-title accordingly. During a longer session, when push2 isnt being actively used (although always powered on) for a while (guess 15-30min...

Push2 Unresponsive note-mode after idling
Hello everyone Since the update to Live 9.7 the meters in "Mix" mode do not display the amplitudes anymore (on Push2), like there is no audio. The meters in Live work normally though... Also the clip-indicators below the tracknames do not show anymore. I can sometimes see them light up for a splitse...

Re: Is it possible to change the gate for note repeat (Push 2)
Defo +1!! Would like that Option too.
What you could do is stick a NoteLength midi-effect into the track, and use push Encoders to adjust gatelength when in repeat mode.

Re: World visual environment is out now with regular add ons.
Hi
This looks really interesting and the tutorial was a good show of the capabilities.
Is it windows 7 64bit with ableton live 64bit compatible?
Are the parameters midi-mappable and automatable (is that even a word
)?
Cheerio

Re: Drum programming
Thank you very much for the reply my friend I really appreciate it. I have had a look on youtube for some tutorials and there's quite a few on programming. I was hoping to get a proper in depth course though rather than bash away at random tutorials. I like methodology when studying. Thanks for the...

Re: Request: Device that forces "retrigger" when playing notes
Hi stringtapper Thank you very much! Almost there! :) I just testet it and it does exactly what was meant. I tried to understand the M4L-patch but I am not quiet there yet. Thought a little about that last note issue and came up with these ideas: - is it possible to let "note off" message still get ...

Re: Request: Device that forces "retrigger" when playing notes
Thanks for your reply. Although I think it's not valid. I already brought up a conceptual solution, just lacking the skills/knowledge if and how this could be done in M4L. It's just a question of manipulating the Midi-data, which itself may be impossible with M4L, but not entirely impossible with ot...

Re: Best App to control ableton live
Yes, we have developed software that does this called PULL, which allows you to control ableton native devices, max devices and vsts inside live on the Lemur. When you select devices, the relevant template appears on the Lemur for controlling. Here's a video of it working: https://www.youtube.com/w...

Request: Device that forces "retrigger" when playing notes
Hi there I am searching for a while now for a simple device that forces retriggering of notes. Maybe I am using the wrong words... let me explain what I mean: Some synth's don't have a "retrigger" setting, which means when playing legato the envelopes are not retriggered. Some synth's offer a switch...

Re: Push 2
If you really want to enable young students to make music, wouldn't it be a better idea to show them how they can do it with a 20 Euro-Midi-Keyboard and free software (like Studio One Prime)? I mean, what happens when these poor kids leave the classroom and check out the price for the Live/Push-Dea...
