Is it possible to change the gate for note repeat (Push 2)

I've tried to look for an answer to this question and haven't found anything about it in the manual. Seems like a pretty big omission.

What you could do is stick a NoteLength midi-effect into the track, and use push Encoders to adjust gatelength when in repeat mode.
