You should first remove all your own presets, samples tec. from the Live Library, then trash it. Boot live and you will get a message asking you if you wish to install the library. Accept and after the reinstallation you may replace any items that you removed earlier.

Live tech support suggested I re-install the Library, which I did after making a back-up of my imported samples, presets etc.. All is well now.

Has anyone else noticed that the electronic drum sounds from previous versions of Live's EI collection are not available in 8? E-Kick, E-Perc, etc.. Please don't tell me that these have been removed from EI and added to a Live pack we now have to pay for! Thoughts? Suggestions?

After recently installing Live 8 I find my instrument rack is empty, save for the "current project" folder. Audio and midi effects are visible, but not their respective presets. I am having the same problem described by bullard.b. I've tried the re-pitch solution, only I am unable to lower the sample's bpm to that of the project. The latter is 120 and the former won't go below 133.02.

Any suggestions?
