The bounced versions were clearly more dull. You can see the wave form as being different as well. It is interesting though that by recording the bus by directing CS80 channel's audio out to the bus, the delays pattern seemed to be affected (I was using the internal CS80 delay) and changed the ...

Combinging itunes libraries whilst preserving asd files

I have three different Itunes libraries on three different computers and Itunes organises my music automatically. I'm looking to combine the three libraries in to one Itunes library on one commputer and whilst keeping the asd files in place.

Does anyone know a way to do this?

I am on OSX.

When I want to rough up beats and loops I use the excellent Camel Crusher distortion plugin. This thing sounds ace and it's FREE :-)

pretty much no problem getting the kick and snare sounding good;

what I might do is filter the lows out of the loop, so that you just here a ghost of the hats.


then, let that play while you program your own hi hats with it.
this way you retain some of the original loop feel.

i'm working on a track which currently uses a loop i found as it's main rhythm and, out of personal pride, i've decided to try recreate the pattern using battery.

the problem is i can't for the life of me get it sounding anything like this loop.
i'm using the 70's funk kit in battery.

Or you could try transposing the sample to the relative major of Em (G major in this case), may or may not work depending on the sample and/or the track.

anyone? feels like im banging my head against a brick wall with this bloody midi business! from what i can see it seems like CC data is sending and triggering stuff in the MIDI map but note data is not! dont understand this at all
