Doing that here, in fact. No issues over the last couple of months. Using AUs, VSTs, hardware, FW to Thunderbolt interface (A&H Zed R16). This is 8 standard, not suite, so no M4L.

Re: What was your favorite gear purchase of 2013?

Macbeth Micromac-D YEAH! Tell us little about it? First impressions? Awesome mono synth… 3 oscillators make for a beastly, ultra thick sound, lots of cv shenanigans if you want. Received mine back in the summer, most of my Micromac-focussed explorations are here: https://soundcloud.com/infomartian ...

Re: How Many of You Wish You Had a Place to Get Away to 4 Music?

If you've got a partner/kids/full time job you need to find the time somewhere. It's pretty obvious that sleep needs to become an option, not a necessity. Stay up late, get up early, whatever. Just do it.

+1, and interesting to hear from someone who, I'm assuming, was a partner with Ableton on some level.

I'm on 8.2.6. This seems like a ridiculously good reason to stay put.

Re: Sonic Lab Push Review

Yeah, I think Nick's reviews are great. Pretty positive overall on Push, aside from a few niggles.

I can see Push doing a great job for a lot of Live 9 users, but it definitely doesn't fit the way I work. I'm comfortable on keys, work only with audio and don't use any Live native kit.

Free SoundToys Plugin - Little MicroShift

As they've done before, you need a code, then you can share yours. *Note iLok required.

My code link: https://www.soundtoys.com/sxsw2013/&rc=382-0775-945

And a wee demo on guitar:

LMS Test

Dry, then Mode1, Mode 2, Mode 3

Nice little thickener.

Yup, super irritating.

I instinctively ignore posts by anyone sporting one of those ugly spam banners in their sig.

Right. They obviously built a certain number up front but are basing their main production on the number of orders. Cash flow.
