Hello, is there any Ableton Live 12 compatible script for Remote SL (the first one)?
That would be great?
Or does somebody knows a keyboard that has all its functions? (16 labels screen, 8 infinite pots, 8 pots, 8 faders, expression pedal imput, XY pad, 8 pads, joystick)

Freely assignable shortcut for every parameter... even EXT(ternal sync) for example. And when it is possible, assignable for more than one parameter?

Mixer snapshots, with recall safe options. Automation in clips is fine, but too much work for drastic effects, or even to compare 2 different mixes. Snapshot could also memorize track configuration, plugin configuration.... everything... and they should be recalled with shortcuts.

A way to allow several action (macro) related to a shortcut, a MIDI message, or customized menu, mouse modifier.
ClyphX, Max4live are way too complicated for somebody who just wants to customize Live and improve worflow.

Midi learn is fine but can be confusing when trying to map for example MPE device, due to so many different midi informations in the same time. For example you would like to map a parameter to Roli Seaboard slide, but it is impossible to slide without having aftertouch control message, and ...

That's already nice if there is a mode that allows to go on tweaking, even if the device "reset" the relation.
I don't see the utility of the other mode, and I would suggest to try implement the mode that allows to conserve relation, even after tweaking. Nord morph keyboards, Native Instrument ...

I think this is an essential feature for any live software.
I didn't see any Max4live macro device allowing that in an easy way or any easy solution with ClyphX. Do you have one to recommend?
I wish Ableton was planing to provide that.

Sorry, I know this topic and your answer are old... but I'm not sure we speak about the same thing. We desire a way to assign parameters in a macro, without loosing individual adjustment... live, without having to deal with new MIN and MAX values in the Macro Map page. A way to add or subtract ...

I imagine a button to memorize any automation state. It could be restricted to tracks, or devices. Every memory location could be recalled by a midi note, and could be permanent or momentary. Several memory location could be recalled at the same time. A morph would be possible between 2 memory ...

Bitwig relative position works that way. Any chance to implement that in next Ableton update?
i didn't see any max4live device that does the job but j74 suite control chosen parameters only when you tweaks its devices; normal control possible when you don't touch j75 device. It's not very clear ...

I also really miss that s function... Without that, we still need another Daw for professional recording.
It should be coupled with a more powerful grouping tracks (a grouping selection only for comps and editing). Selecting tracks is time consuming un ableton.
