@Machinesworking, thanks and you were are totally right! I got 32 tracks (M1x MBP 16GB) working perfectly but @33 it started glitching.

@wildcon I suppose your 75 instances were not achieved with @Machinesworking test, right?

Still get the spikes when running the session on my Apollo X6 @ 128 buffer. But now, if I drag a plugin, instead of hearing a Glitch in my computer speakers the music just stops for a few Milliseconds. I am now using Universal audio driver instead of Internal Core audio.

Got this new rig. Amazing laptop for everything except Live...
Whenever I am on Internal speakers, buffer @ 128 (tried others too) I get huge CPU spikes.
Even with only 1-2 tracks playing, let's say that I drop a device (audio plugin) while audio is playing on a track, I see the current CPU go ...
