Restarted and appears to work OK now, may have been attempting to find a defunct template set.

Got a compatible i7-7700 which should run AVX2, worked fine after installation yesterday, today won't launch.

Guessing there might be an additional issue...

Having the same problem on my PC (Windows 7, i7 CPU, 16gb RAM, Acer Monitor (not 4k AFAIK), NVIDIA graphics card. If you set up Maschine as one MIDI instrument, group this and then add external instruments for each of the additional channels you want, change them to have the specific MIDI channel from Maschine as input and then send the audio back to the separate Maschine audio channels. The askaudio link is for MIDI, used it myself the other week to set up Geist and have used it with multis in Kontakt too.

You could use the Velocity MIDI effect, set it to gate, set minimum velocity that will pass through the gate, and then record the MIDI to another channel, paste the recorded clip to the original position and then simply deactivate Velocity.
