I've been frustrated to see that when I start up ableton, there is no recent list when right clicking on the ableton app in the dock.
Or at least it is not mirroring the recent list under File>Open recent set>...

So right now the workaround is opening ableton and then when it is launched ...

Someone updated the Probability pack which uses similar features to select a push3.
But my max skills lack the understanding of how to implement it to the Tricky Trap devices :')

I was curious if anyone knew of a mfl device which can automatic "consolidate time to new scene"?
Auto name the scene according to the first clip name (eg.) would also be a time saver.

Thing is I have a lot of sets in arrangement view, but dragging them to clip view for the push3 ...

Haven't found anything like that yet.

As most of you know, live12 had no more control surface for the push2.
But in the preference file, you can edit it so it will have a control surface for p2, losing some of new L12 features tho.
Maybe in that way both can be used.
I'll try it next week when my p3 is delivered.

How do you guys deal with audio "pops" when loading in instruments or changing audio output of a track e.g. ?
Even when you enable a device pops happen, for some reason live11 and 12 have mayor cpu peaks for some reason..
So having multiple instruments on a chain and turning devices on when ...

Still not fixed in Live12.
Annoying to say the least!!!

If you have Max Cooper like live-sets, grouping just isn't an option..

For any one having the same question.
This device is by far the easiest to use.
Just add this device to 1 midi track and change the input to the correct device ...

Using follow but really need link to push abletons tempo to other link devices..
Real bummer! Maybe technically a limitation

When in arrangement view when you are editing clips, chopping, rearranging etc, I usually click/drag while holding "command" to select the part I want to cut.

If grid is on > clicking will snap to the nearest grid line.
Normally when holding down "command" grid is ignored, so I can click and drag ...

Any news on this,
keep having peeks and pops every time my marker goes over a locator, for some reason.

Hi fellow Abletoneers,

I'm kindof in a pickle here,
When my Live set is crashing and I restore the backup after restarting Ableton Live11,
I find some VST & MFL Macro Mapping links been broken.

Anyone experiencing the same problem?
Any workaround?

Well it could be fairly easy,
Right click on clip, fast render to new track.
But it just doesn't exists right now, or does it?


You can add a new audio track, set it's input to "Resampling", arm that track, solo the source track(s) and hit record.

I believe there's M4L device that does all of ...
