To change the speed of a single sample (that is, changing the length of it), warp it and mess with "Seg. BPM" until it's at desired speed. Not sure what you are talking about. A tempo is derived from more than one note. You cannot change the tempo of individual notes as the note itself does not have a tempo but multiple notes strung together do have a tempo. Maybe give us a specific example of what you need to do.
