Thanks for posting this. I am also having the same issue. I have a feeling it's a bug, as it happens quite randomly, even auto-arming group tracks (which you can't record on!). I've tried all of the above and have no solution yet. What's also strange, is there doesn't seem to be anything in the docu...

I've managed to figure out that it's my Arturia collection that's the culprit. I'm going to try a complete reinstall and see if it helps!

Hi all,
Recently I have found that I have to force quit Live on my Mac, as it won't quit normally.
I wonder if anyone else has experienced this and if there are any common causes?
It doesn't seem to be happening with any other applications.

I'm interested to know if Ableton acknowledged this as a rare case, or if it's actually the same for everyone.
Even if your library is big, surely indexing should deal with it?

I've been using it for months, so it should be indexed by now.
Actually I'm wondering if there is a way to force a re-index - maybe it would help?
The problem only seems to be with the 'Sounds' category. All others (Drums etc) are instantaneous.

Has anyone got any tips on how to speed up searches in the browser?
It seems to momentarily freeze while I'm typing the word before picking up again.
I thought that the files would be cached making search results immediate..
I'm convinced it used to be faster before the 9.5 update.
