I also have this question. In my case I have nested drum racks in an instrument rack. And I would like to choke on the instrument level.

But you can also assign note restrictions to chains in an Instrument Rack, and I wonder if perhaps some kind of MIDI device placed in the chain before the sound ...

Is it Live Suite? Could it be Max requiring full access to your disk too? I feel like I'm completely wrong on this, but it's still worth checking.

Also, did you try thrashing your Preferences.cfg file?


It's not Suite, but Standard. And I have not tried Preferences.cfg, will do that ...

I have granted Full Disk Access in System Settings.

When you drop a clip into session view, if the filename ends with xxxbpm, ableton should set segment bpm to this value.
