Thanks, those are some good options I wasnt aware of. However having an Excel type row of tabs along the bottom of the screen would allow quick jumps between songs to see structure, edit and manipulate etc.
An hour long session in arrangement view is pretty cumbersome to put together and even worse ...

MPC like screen for Push3 on iPad companion + slot
One of the few areas I think MPC has an edge over the Push3 is the touch screen. It would be great if a companion app could replicate that as much as possible. Sample manipulation, automation, and device control is much easier on a touch screen. Moreover it would be the easiest way to get a ...

MPC like iPad companion screen for samples and automation
The one thing I like better on the MPC is the large touch screen and its functionality for sample manipulation automation, and device controls. It would be great to have an iPad companion app that could achieve as much of that as possible.

Most significant unresolved Ableton feature - Song Tabs for live use
Anyone who uses Ableton in a live setting will quickly find the complexity increases exponentially as each new song is added. Session View becomes a swamp of hundreds of clips scrolling off the screen. Arrangement View has a time line running perpetually off the screen.

Re: Scale change on scene change solution
What I mean is that the scale on PUSH only changes when the CLIP is selected, not executed.
I would like to have clips playing in series with follow actions with the scale changing as specified in each clip.
I was wondering if anyone had a solution to have the focus/selection of a clip occur with ...

Scale change on scene change solution
I like many others want to have scales autoselected as the scenes change.
Ableton 11 got part way there by allowing Push to change scales when a clip is selected but this doesnt help that much since you need to manually do that.
Anyone know of a way to force a clip selection on a scene change as a ...

Re: Converting Audio to Simpler in Push 2 = low volume slices
Thanks for suggestion - issue is in a live scenario its a little cumbersome to have to do all that. For example, if I want to take a drum loop and spontaneously jam with it using slices in PUSH2 the new slices get lost in background (unlike say, the tutorial video with that guy playing along with a ...

Some very simple RELATIVE position midi commands
It would be nice to have some RELATIVE position midi commands (accessible from MIDI map screen) for better (and more economical) foot pedal control like:
- record in NEXT open clip in selected track
- play NEXT (or last) scene
- record arm SELECTED track
- stop clip in SELECTED track
- record in NEXT open clip in selected track
- play NEXT (or last) scene
- record arm SELECTED track
- stop clip in SELECTED track

Can you convert audio to Simpler within DAW like Push 2?
I know you can right click on a clip and slice to a midi file but is there the other PUSH 2 functionality anywhere - i.e. mode (one shot etc) or sensitivity?

Converting Audio to Simpler in Push 2 = low volume slices
If I take a track and convert it the slices are very low volume when I try to play them back in note mode on the pads - any ideas?
