Sonar is listed at $619 for Producer 7. Although some retailers are offering a discount on it. If you used Sonar you would appreciate why people are prepared to pay more for the Live Suite. Sonar has a terrible GUI and even though it has some great features, that kills it for me.

well Logic 8 is my main DAW right now. i'll be using live for quick beat making and time-stretching so the other features aren't really very attractive to me. i guess that's what makes it expensive for me - the fact that i'll only be using Live's time stretching and some plugins.

It's a very good product, in fact it's very useful for me, but I haven't upgraded since Live 4 because I can't sustain all of the yearly upgrades. i know that currently muse receptor only works with windows vsts, but is there a chance that live can work in receptor? it might be a little too far fetched, but i can imagine a gig with a muse receptor, a midi controller or two, a monitor.

hi is there any way to send midi from ableton to a rewire host like cakewalk sonar? live is much easier to use on simple midi applications than any of the sequencers i've used. i like using live midi clips instead of the piano roll type thing.

this is my main sequencer now, and now that you have video support for live 6, I hope you get to include surround in the next version of Live.

this is probably the best interface in the market today, can't wait for the 6th edition!

if they had video clips for syncing i wouldn't need any other sequencer.
