I am curious to the reasons why an Ableton Live Set should take so long to load.

I open Live 10, which takes on my computer about 10 seconds to load. Windows 10/16GB Ram/4790K CPU/Samsung 850EVO 1TB drive.

Then I open a Live Set, which takes 60 seconds to load! It has:

- one a capella audio track ...

I have no idea why this is happening.

Push 2 scale set to C Minor, so it's notes should be:

C D Eb F G Ab Bb

Push 2 pads are playing:

B C# D E F# G A

Computer has all best quality components, if it was at fault Live 9 would not work so well.

If only I could move projects back into Live 9 from the bug fest of Live 10. Live 10 is just an unusable product for me, it crashes so often.

Ableton 10 is a PITA, it is always crashing. If it's not one thing it's another. Plus 10 even loses connection to RME Babyface Pro randomly, not some crappy ass driver, but the best in the industry.

I choose to use Live 9 now over 10, plus I find the interface text looks clearer. Everything there ...

I ended up saving each Drum Rack in Live 9.7.7 I use to my User Library, I can then use them in 10.0.5.

But really, the tonal changes achievable with old macro controls to suit groove/key of Low Cut|High Cut|Tone|Glue|Attack|Decay|Pitch|Volume is so much more usable.

Why is it I can open Massive and operate it without any issues at a 120% Windows 10 zoom setting in 9.7.7. But 10, now after several updates to 10.0.5, still does not work correctly making it impossible to run some vst instruments/fx?

I really dislike the recent update changes to drumkit macro controls DRBUSS AMOUNT/DRBUSS DRIVE/DRBUSS TRANSIENT/COMP AMOUNT, the old macro controls were so much better to shape/tune the drumkit sounds.

Anyone else prefer the old macro controls?

For example if you compare the controls on 808 Core ...

When I am playing things back, it will play for about a second, then jump back to the flashing green play icon and play it again. How can I stop this annoying behaviour?

Thanks, I found it in the backup and all data is there, so backup worked great.

I don't really understand what happened. In the backup directory was the latest version (slightly different filename). It appears, 'Open Recent Set' only showed the two older versions, hence me thinking all data lost.

I just opened one of my Live 10 files, while loading I could see the session data for a split second, now it is all gone, only the arrangement data remains. A lot of work gone, it's a really bad bug.

Live 10 says there is nothing to undo, nothing to redo.

I think Push2 is a great tool. The isomorphic keyboard is a fantastic feature for jamming around, finding nice chord progressions, playing melodies when not so great on the keyboard in that particular key or not. Everything else it does is a bonus. I also have Komplete Kontrol S61, Maschine Studio ...

I have NI S61/Push2 combo.

If I was purchasing again I would get S49, because S61 is a bit long on the desk.

I also have Novation SL37 for in front of display. But 49 key would be perfect size I think.

Some new features, annoying pop for onedrive etc.

But the important thing is, when I load Ableton Live 9.6.2 build ...
