most controls in Live work with unquantised floating point precission internally.
This means you can type in "-0.0003" in a volume slder and it will do this.
But: you cannot see it because the display will tell you " 0.0 dB".

Pretty strange... I've had a ReMOTE 25 for ages and never noticed this.

I just tried with several Novation templates and custom ones alike, and as expected, monitoring does not show anything sent via MIDI when pressing the octave buttons.

If I get it straight, you're using the built-in arpeggiator of your VST?

Then you should check if there is an option "hold" somewhere on the arp parameters, and in that case check it off.

unless you are going to do 3d gaming and stuff alike, I'd say you're well off with what you've got here. Never mind video RAM shared. Many hits have been done with much, much less CPU power. Good luck!
