Out Of Memory
Seriously please fix the memory issues in Live. Garbage cleanup upon loading another project would be nice. I have never had these problems until recently. The program just shuts down and says Out Of Memory. I have to unplug my sound card and re-open the program. This is the only time is forcefully ...

Re: NI plugins complain "installation folder is not writable"
If you right click and run live as administrator this error will not happen.
However, this is quite annoying to do.
I only seemed to be experiencing this with Battery 3, but to fix it I did the following..
Right click on Native Instruments program folder....
Go to Folder Properties
Go to Security ...

Vista Aero Problems Anyone?
Okay so they said they fixed the problem where the screen saver would cause Aero to screw up.....so now 7.0.12 basically appears to cause aero to not only be disabled and the screen to blank out more often, but disappears from the choices all together, so it cannot be re-enabled. Previously, even if ...

Just when I was almost almost finished completely replacing Acid with Ableton Live this issue comes up. Even with loading clips into RAM and increasing the update rate to 1/32 instead of 1/16 the program lags far behind in this area. The overall sound quality was better, but I felt it was severely ...

Went back to older system to compare performance on (ATI Radeon x1650 Pro 8X AGP). Tried versions 5.2 Lite, 6.0.5, & 6.0.7 which all experience this zoom problem to some degree but not as bad as my new system (Sapphire x1650 Pro 16X PCI-E). I have elminated that this is not a mouse related issue, or ...

As far as I could tell Ableton Live has to convert the mp3 files to wav first. Maybe during this conversion factor something is getting off. Normally I just simply convert files to wav directly since I was used to using the Lite version before. See if this happens when using wav files. Also make ...

I have an Axiom-49 and had the same problem as you describe. I was really frustrated because I went and got the latest driver and still nothing. I had the same problems with my Trigger Finger a while back and after reading on this forum I was about to give up on m-audio.

If you are looking for studio headphones that give more true response try Sennheiser HD280 Pro Closed-Back Headphones (around $99). I found these were more comfortable than Sony and gave better frequency response overall without too much bass sound. If you are listening for long periods of times you ...

This is a very common problem but you will not find the correct solution on this forum (thus far). Even m-audio had no solution for this on their website from what I could tell. I had to go somewhere else and after hours of research finally got my m-audio devices working. I believe this issue is ...
