so ist there really no workaround to get the automation lane recorded if a parameter is controlled via a M4L device?

bounce to track in cubase: right click -> bounce to track.
that's it!
just 2 clicks!

the result is:
- new wave file created (2 clicks in ableton - freeze)
- new track created(2 clicks in ableton)
- new wave file in the new track(1 click in ableton)
- first track muted(1 click in ableton)

makes 4 ...

found it out by myself. it has to do with the HiDPI mode.

right click on Serum device and turn off Auto-Scale Plugin Window.

this short Video shows a strange phenomenon when using Ableton 10 in a UHD Resolution.
Can somebody confirm similar situations or does somebody has a solution?

BTW: Running UHD with Ableton 9 works perfect, likewise Full HD with Ableton 10.

this ducks volume, yes...

but according to the topic which says:
"sidechain compression with fabfilter pro-c"
(or a compressor plugin of your choice)
this doesnt help me out in any way.

found a solution!

1. creating a sidechain-bus-channel(must be an audio track) and say no input at the input type - put monitor option to IN
2. put a compressor of your choice into that channel and declare it as sidechain(depends on your plugin how to do this)
3. make ONE! copy of your kick track ...

thanx for your ideas - that's how i'm solving this anyway until my Berlin Buddys fix this for us.

thanx for answering - unfortunately it does not work, since the routing for the SC has to be
made in the send channel.

has anybody found a solution for the following task:

- I want to use one(!) kick channel as a sidechain source for all(!) my other channels(midi and audio) and use
fabfilters pro-c as prefered vst

(if I use the method, in which I send the kick audio to the sidechained channel, I can`t use ...
