Re: Can't hear one of the drums in my drum rack

Like in real life...... I guess that's programmed that way.

An open hi hat can't sound at the same time as a closed one. :P

Re: Why I'm leaving Live for Bitwig.

Yes, that would narrow down a lot of work and problems! I would certainly participate in such project, meaning I would like to use and test it. I can't code though......

Ableton are you reading with us? LOL :D

Re: Why I'm leaving Live for Bitwig.

IMO Ableton should make a low-latency RTOS Ableton "OS" distro that boots Ableton straight (like instantly) on common hardware (Intel, AMD, ARM). It would solve the competition from standalone boxes like Maschine+, solve their user's dependency on Mac/Win/Linux, it would make Live portable and boot...

Re: MIDI switch question

I forgot to mention, with an interface like that, you can route the MIDI signal inside Live from and to whatever port on the interface.

The unit can send and receive for 4 devices.

Re: MIDI switch question

A MIDI interface would do the trick here.

Something like this will do: https://www.ebay.com/itm/MIDI-4x4-USB-M ... SwLHhfWzIA

Re: Push 2. For Beginners?

Why not, I started Ableton with the Push2...... It is so intuïtive to use Push2! Just do it. I could not think of Ableton Live without Push2, it is way more fun anyway!

I could only find a German manual for your keyboard, and as far as I understand, it should work without altering settings on the keyboard....

You can only switch local on/off - but that does not alter the status of sending MIDI over it's port.

Re: Live does not Support 8000 as a sample rate for the device "asio4all v2"

Hopefully someone chimes in quickly to assist you with ASIO4ALL, and if you have more questions whatsoever beside ASIO4ALL, feel free to ask me! On a different "note" :D (get it, it's a pun) I have a old yamaha psr e223 that I tried to connect to my pc using a usb to midi cable. The issue I'm havin...

Re: Live does not Support 8000 as a sample rate for the device "asio4all v2"

Maybe one of the others who are familiar with the current version of ASIO4ALL can chime in, haven't seen it for 5 years or so. I have good advice for you, buy an external audio interface like the Focusrite Scarlett Solo or 2i2 3rd gen. Your sound quality will improve drastically, and you make your m...

Take the 44.100 Hz or 48.000 Hz as samplerate at 24 bit if possible. That will do. Proberly at 512 samples latency.......

Re: Live does not Support 8000 as a sample rate for the device "asio4all v2"

Some guess work:

You are on Windows (proberly 10), You use your onboard soundchip ( asio4all).

Why not start by giving some specs about your interface, pc etc. Maybe then we can help you......

Re: Live 10 Audio crackles

I feel sorry for you...... As far as Reason goes: I just bought it last year in November and I like it a lot. I like the mixer with build in dynamics, I love the synths and FX's and love the way it consumes less CPU resources then Ableton does. Oh, now I get angry Live lovers all over me LOL. I have...
