I see, maybe i wrote it wrongly, i was talking about the output channel, and then the output to the compressor, but now, i tried with Audio Units and it worked, i don't know why the output menu for plug ins from Return A or any channel doesn't appear active with VST's

I want to send signal from a kick drum to a Sonalksis side chain compresor on another track via Return A, when i try to send the return signal to the track that has the compressor, ie track 1, i'm supposed to get a second input menu to choose the compressor, but instead the menu is gray and not ...
