Try to set the cpu min and max power usage at 100% in the power options.
Sometimes the CPU power saving features cause issues.

Rendering and aliasing
When exporting/rendering the master to a file (with no external instruments in use), does Live automatically use oversampling on all effects that have it as an option?
Or alternatively, does it compensate for aliasing?
It's quite annoying to go through all effects to enable oversampling when ...

Re: Sampler, been struggling for years on this one
This is definitely a Sampler bug:
I mapped a M4L "live.numbox" display to a macro, when I was moving the macro the Macro and numbox numbers were aligned.
Then I mapped the Sampler sample selector to the same Macro: not only the sample selector was off, but the numbox numbers too.
I hope my support ...

Re: Sampler, been struggling for years on this one
You could try to map the control via another mapping device that allows you to scale/offset/attenuate. Do you have m4l?
I don't have other devices (I went full push 2 and got rid of old controllers).
Yes, I do have the Suite with M4L.
On M4L: I was wondering if there is a way to transform the ...

Stacks midi tool and visual representations of chords
I'm quite confused with the visual representation in the Stacks tool. The manual only says it uses the Tonnetz system.
Take for example Amin triad. Stacks show it a downward pointing triangle:

But if you check on Wikipedia , minor triads are pointing up ...

Sampler, been struggling for years on this one
Try this:
Assign two different samples one at Sel 0 and one at Sel 1
Map a rack macro to the selector
Now in the macro type 0.4 > Sel position 0 sounds
Now in the macro type 0.5 > Sel position 1 sounds
This is driving me mad because I am using Push to select samples, and I cannot rely on the sample ...

Push 2 knobs and Macro steps
Hi, I've been using and enjoying Push 2 for years, but always struggled whit this one little thing:
I create libraries of sounds using Sampler and skipping through each sound by assigning a Macro to the Sample Selector.
If I have 128 sounds (0 to 127), each assigned to a step of the sample selector ...

Any way to change the default "Freeze" suffix when freezing and flattening?
Got the handle on multisampling in Live and I love it.
It would be even better if I can avoid having the files suffix "Freeze " not present at all, or better customized.
Is there any hidden configuration for it?

How to use DDMF Plugin Doctor in Live?
I'd like to use DDMF Plugin Doctor to copy various plugins' EQ curves to EQ Eight.
Unfortunately, EQ Eight cannot be loaded as a VST in Plugin Doctor.
I tried with the standalone version and a loopback (native in Focusrite drivers) but unsuccessful.
Do you have any advice?

Re: Using Drum Rack pads to automate on/off of effects in the Audio Effect Rack in a different Group Track.
LOL, just searched in Live's Browser here, found a couple devices I had built for someone who asked for a device that toggles with MIDI notes, had forgotten I ever built those.

Re: Using Drum Rack pads to automate on/off of effects in the Audio Effect Rack in a different Group Track.
@siliconarc hardware, I want to use Drum Rack in Push 2 to live perform stutter or rhythmic effects on master or groups
@pottering thanks, I tried Shaper Midi, but couldn't find how to map an on/off switch of an effect. It works fine on things that modulate (like knobs).

Using Drum Rack pads to automate on/off of effects in the Audio Effect Rack in a different Group Track.
My goal is to trigger native effects on/off (ex. Beat Repeat) in a Group Track by tapping pads in a Drum Rack.
The idea is to use the "External Audio Effect" to send midi notes from each Drum Rack pad to a midi receiver in a different Group Track, and then use Midi Mapping in the Group Track to ...

Why Push3 process takes so much CPU, even when idle?
I have a Push 2, since Live 12 came out I noticed this process takes an unreasonable amount of CPU load and memory.
Even when idle it can go to 7% of CPU load, why Ableton, why?
