That’s a shame .. Also the fact that expression and modulation cc’s, in my opinion regulary used parameters, are not listed in that automation dropdown list is a shame! Just saying

Yeah, but I’m talking about expression and automation and sustain .. For some reason, these can’t be seen in the arrangement view window and are not part of that automation drop downlist .. correct me if I’m wrong .. So I’m afraid this is not possible?

As you discovered already there's the 'Velocity' midi effect which can pretty much control everything, it can even add a bit of randomness to make things less static.

And if that isn't enough there's always Max for Live; the amount of control you can apply over midi is pretty extensive.

Is there a way to control velocity live? Not after recording, but live, when playing?

I found another solution meanwhile .. I put the cycle/loop bar on repeat somewhere in arrangement view on an empty and signature/tempo friendly place

Is there a way to launch a clip in session view, without arrangement view launching too?
I know if you hit the 'stop all clips button' in the session view, the arrangement view is muted, but the timecode is still running.
Problem is, I have different timecodes and signatures in my arrangement view ...

I tested my setup with Cubase and Reaper and in both DAWs my outputs were working perfectly.
So, the problem has to be something in Ableton.

I can activate the outs in Ableton and use them, but there's no sound coming out.
Is there a way so I can know for sure Ableton is seeing my outputs ...

My outputs on my ADA8200 are not working in Ableton.

I'm using Ableton Live 10 (Suite) and have my UR824 attached with a ADA8200 via adat port A (in and out).
When I use my setup in Cubase, everything works fine, but when using the same setup in Ableton, things go wrong.

You did not like my workaround suggestion above, inactivating/reactivating note events in the clips?
