If you look through the Ableton LOM you can see if what you’re wanting to do is possible. It should be, but to make it easy and fluid to use would probably be a bit more involved.

I have them showing up in the edit tab under creators after removing the plugins. They don’t show up in the browser creators section for me. The plugins themselves are definitely removed, I assumed there could be some mystery file associated with the plugin lingering somewhere I can’t find that ...

You could do it in M4L by taking over the push for sure. I’m not sure about user mode though.

There are work arounds using max for live but Live can’t do that natively unfortunately. If you search on maxforlive.com for multi vst there should be a few things pop up. Alternatively you can run the sequencer standalone if that’s possible and send the midi to Live that way.

Sounds like you’re trying to select a device with a controller?As far as I know that can only be done with a controller script. There wouldn’t be a way to do it from within live I don’t think.

You could use an envelope follower on the audio track to do that. I’m not sure if it’s available in all versions of live/ which version you’re on but there should be one in the modulators section of the browser. There’s also a few lfos on maxforlive.com that can take samples.

For Bitwig it works with “driven by moss” in controller mode, it wouldn’t have any functionality without the script. If you’re using it standalone with a daw you should be able to just route the midi from push in whatever daw you want I believe.
