64 MIDI buttons controlling one Parameter knob. Possible with Ableton Push 2?

Post by kenzura » Wed Jul 09, 2025 10:48 am

Hey! :)

I have an Ableton Push 2 connected to Ableton and would like to map the 64 white buttons to a parameter knob in Granulator III, specifically the Position knob. In my logic, the bottom left button would be position 0,0% and the top right button would be 100%, with the inbetween buttons being each step of 1/64. I would be happy if this worked, the order of the buttons doesn't matter that much to me as long as each button triggers a different position. Is there a straight forward way of doing it or do I require M4L? Note that this needs to be done in the User Mode

Looking forward to your responses and thanks!

You could do it in M4L by taking over the push for sure. I’m not sure about user mode though.

You can simply MIDI assign a MIDI note range to any knob, hold one note then press another to define the range, that range of notes will control the knob.
