Check out Computer Music magazine and Future Music magazine. They give you a free DVD of samples every month usually about 4 gigs worth, all high quality. There are a lot of good ones on You Tube also. I just recently learned about sidechain compression and it has really made a difference in my productions. There is a good one on there that also gives you a link to a free sidechain compressor VSTi.

I really love using Reason as the Slave with Ableton Running as the Master. I like all of the synth machines and combi and beat machines in Reason 3.0, but I really hate the sequencer so I think it is the perfect fit to run these into Ableton and use the Ableton sequencer.
